History

I.C.E. Transport was founded in 1987 as Inter-Continental Express. We were pioneers in the U.S.–Poland shipping lane as the first American NVOCC company to offer a freight-collect Bill of Lading. Since then, we have expanded our focus to offer full international shipping services between the U.S. and all of Eastern and Western Europe.

Strategy

While we handle a large volume of standard container freight, our specialty as an NVOCC company is global shipping of heavy and oversized freight. We are also experts in moving freight between North America and Eastern Europe, including Poland. We manage complex, door-to-door deliveries, with strong landside services at origin and destination.

Network

Our global shipping network includes a mix of owned and long-time agent offices around the world, covering the US, Poland, UK, Hungary, Lithuania, Germany, France, Portugal, Canada, and China. I.C.E. is a certified member of the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT).
